WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

The Bonita Project is a Latinx-owned media agency, created in 2018,  on a mission to change how brands engage with multicultural communities by demonstrating their brand loyalty, social engagement, and purchasing power.

The Bonita Team draws from their own bicultural experiences to keep breaking barriers between general and multicultural markets. Bonitas worldwide are drawn to The Bonita Project to feel seen, heard, and celebrated.

OUR TEAM

Meet the Bonita Gang

Danielle Alvarez

Founder & CEO

Danielle is leveling up the PR game. When the savvy PR pro realized that while the media landscape was quickly evolving and the way brands approached multicultural audiences was not, she knew it was time to create a project of her own. An agency that would authentically meet audiences where they are. Danielle launched The Bonita Project in 2018, and since its introduction to the industry - she infuses creative, nontraditional ideas while being unapologetically Latinx.

The proud Peruvian-American is drawing from her bicultural experience to make sure she keeps breaking barriers between general & multicultural markets. Prior to her launching The Bonita Project, Danielle has worked with brands of all scales such as L’Oreal Paris, Garnier, Urban Decay, Sally Beauty, and more.

At the heart of every project, Danielle focuses on community. Danielle is passionate about storytelling and educating brands on the rise and importance of BIPOC communities, while also informing and amplifying BIPOC voices across different communities.

Ivonne Morales

Social Media Director

Ivonne is a full-time NYC travel and lifestyle content creator. She manages all things social for The Bonita Project - from planning social strategy, creating content, monitoring social media metrics and growth, and most importantly building our Bonita community.

Ivonne is also the founder of @LatinaChicTravels, which is a platform showing the Latinx community how to fuel their wanderlust by traveling smarter and more purposefully. When she’s not busy creating content in her 9-5, she’s traveling the world (she has visited 50+ countries to date!) From sharing vacation tips on where to go next, what to eat, where to get the best Instagram photo - Ivonne is a resource for all things travel.
