I know you haven’t heard from us in a bit but we’re back and better than ever. At The Bonita Project, we’ve been stepping it up in the PR Industry by connecting with our audience and beyond through our clients, campaigns, and social networks.
We’ve been working on some fun stuff since the last time you heard from us! We've hired more team members, signed on new clients, and been able to be more active on everyone’s favorite social platform, TikTok!
For Valentine’s Day this year, our social team knew they had to step it up to connect with our Gen-Z and Millennial audience, and what do they both have in common? Well, let’s just say, some of us are busy scrolling endlessly through dating apps to find the ONE and we still haven’t!
So, we decided to bring the Bonitos to you and connect with some of our favorite male creators that are active on Instagram and TikTok to bring the love this Valentine’s Day.
Let us give you the lowdown on all that went on behind the scenes to make this Valentine’s Day extra sweet and spicy!

We kicked off the love day season by asking our community to share their most cringe-worthy dating stories for a chance to be featured on the gram. And ooo, have some of ya’ll been through it! The team picked our favorite stories and included them in a carousel post with a special GIF that represents our reaction when hearing the story.
Then, we were feeling extremely charitable this Valentine’s Day, so we decided to hook you guys up with some of our favorite Bonitos on our Instagram page, you’re welcome!
In past years, we’ve loved doing something special for Valentine’s Day. One of our favorites is giving our beloved Bonitos a chance to give their partners a super sweet shoutout for Valentine’s Day. With the recent dating climate, we knew we had to do something for our single community, it is truly hard out here for a lot of us. 😢
We decided to give our own Bonita twist from the typical dating apps and bring the men to you. We partnered with nine male creators that vary in age, profession, and background to create a diverse selection to choose from. Each creator made a video wishing our Bonitas a Happy Valentine’s Day on our Instagram story as well. The content was then shared on TikTok with a Gen-Z mindset of course, which may or may not have included a thirst trap and a custom TikTok filter. 😒
Behind the Scenes of The Campaign
Like most ideas, spur-of-the-moment ones are usually the best! So naturally, our team brought this idea to the table just one week before V-Day. Our Bonita Social team went to work by finding the best guys (we probably sent over 200 DMs) and not to be a chismosa, but many of them left us on read! 🙄 However, the ones we got connected with were special and we couldn’t have asked to work with a better group of guys. 😍

The Community Reaction
Oh you know our Bonita community, they really showed up and showed out! With over 10,000 impressions on social, our comments and messages were flooded with love. We hope that we made at least one successful match but you’ll have to stay tuned to hear that story!
We’re already excited for this year and what else is yet to come! And who knows, maybe we’ll host our very first Bonita Single’s Mixer in the future! 😉
